According to authorities, the teenage daughter of popular actor and music director Vijay Antony committed herself on Tuesday at her home in Chennai. The 16-year-old was discovered dead in her Teynampet home and was rushed to a metropolitan hospital, where she was confirmed ‘brought dead’ by medics.

Meera was a Class 12 student in a private school. According to them, a case of unnatural death has been registered, and an investigation is underway. Vijay had also lost his father to suicide when he was seven years old.
