Meghan Markle celebrates Prince Harry’s birthday with a drink during the Invictus Games
At the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated Harry’s 39th birthday with German beer. They also went to a local brewery.
On Friday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated the prince’s 39th birthday at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The pair, who retired from royal responsibilities in 2020, sipped German beer while watching a volleyball final match at the Paralympic-style events that Harry established.
The Hindustan Times received photos of the two having a clean pint and applauding throughout the game.
The former actress, who turned 42 on August 4, concealed her face while her husband rejoiced. The birthday kid seemed delighted and “bashful,” according to body language expert Judi James, who talked to the Mirror.
The former royal couple also went to a local brewery named Schumacher with some pals the night before, when Harry allegedly drank six beers while Markle had one.
They also ate classic German fare including wiener schnitzel, pig knuckle, sausage, roast, and mashed potatoes.
“They were very happy,” said head waiter Frank Wacker, who served them.
“He is a lovely man, and they were so nice.”
Thea Ungermann, the proprietor of Thea Ungermann Restaurant, claimed she had “goosebumps” when she spotted the royals at her restaurant.
Harry also gave the waiters a big tip and got a white chocolate cake for dessert.
Harry may have had a lot of birthday love in Europe, but he doesn’t appear to get the same from his British relatives.
The royal family regularly shares a birthday message on social media, but The Firm is unlikely to do so this year. Markle also did not get a birthday greeting from her relatives.
The pair has been residing in Montecito, California, since they retired as family elders. They’ve been enjoying their new life in California, including dining at In-N-Out Burger.
