Rannvijay Singha may now be an actor who has acted on programs like Mismatched on Netflix India, but he is most known for the action reality series Roadies on MTV. He won Season 1 and hosted the following 12 seasons. He recently shared old photos from Season 1, 2003, in which Hrithik Roshan is prominently displayed.
Rannvijay’s vintage Roadies images
On Friday, Rannvijay posted four photos to his Instagram account from the MTV Roadies 1 set, where Hrithik Roshan had come to give the participants the keys to the bikes they had won.
The finalists are pictured next to Hrithik in the images, who is seated in the middle of a yellow Karizma. Hrithik is dressed in a black biker jacket, dark blue jeans, and a white T-shirt. A few inches away in a similar outfit, Rannvijay can be seen showing off his left bicep in a sleeveless white T-shirt while carrying his jacket on one shoulder. In addition, he lacks the thick mustache and beard that have come to represent him, save for a goatee that was fashionable at the time.
comments following Rannvijay’s throwback
One among individuals who used the post’s comment section to convey their pleasant recollections of watching Roadies was stand-up comedian Kenny Sebastian. In India, “Karizmas are synonymous with dream goals for biking,” the author added. “Hrithik and you cemented that culture for us (bow down and fire emojis).” He was answered by Rannvijay with the emoji “namaste.”
When Rannvijay was the host of MTV Splitsvilla 2, Suyyash Rai, a TV actress, wrote, “Bajaj bhaiya nd ypu (red heart emoji).” It’s interesting to note that he also tried out for MTV Roadies 5, but was turned down. He was answered by Rannvijay with an emoji of a hug.
Heart emoticons were also used as comments by Shiv Thakare, a former MTV Roadies Rising contender. Additionally, the actor Siddhanth Kapoor said, “I remember this (heart in eyes emoji).”
