The scheduled maintenance at Kambarasampettai and Main Guard Gate substations is crucial for ensuring the continued reliability and efficiency of the power supply system. Regular maintenance work is essential to prevent unexpected outages and to improve service quality. However, it also requires a temporary suspension of electricity to facilitate the necessary upgrades and repairs.

Residents are advised to plan accordingly for the power outages. This includes preparing for potential disruptions to daily routines, such as cooking, working from home, or managing medical equipment that relies on electricity.
