Trump New Deputy Chief of Staff Pick, Stephen Miller, Sparks Debate Over ‘Anti-White Racism’ Agenda and Project 2025
Trump New Deputy Chief: US President-elect Donald Trump is expected to name Stephen Miller as his White House deputy chief of staff for policy, according to recent reports. The announcement received praise from Vice President-elect JD Vance, who congratulated Miller on X (formerly Twitter), calling him “another fantastic pick by the president.” Miller, a known immigration hard-liner, previously served as Trump’s senior adviser and has led the conservative legal organization America First Legal.
Miller has been a controversial figure for his staunch stance on immigration and his efforts to reshape the government’s approach to civil rights laws, allegedly focusing on what he terms “anti-white racism.” His America First Legal organization has frequently challenged the Biden administration, tech platforms, universities, and other entities on matters related to free speech, religious freedom, and national security.
The 39-year-old adviser’s connection to Project 2025 has also reignited public interest. Although Trump has distanced himself from the project, Miller’s organization was among over 100 conservative groups formally endorsing the initiative, which seeks to implement sweeping changes in federal policies. Earlier this year, a video surfaced showing Miller purportedly recruiting for Project 2025; however, he later clarified that he was not directly involved in the project.
Miller has also been linked to plans for a “denaturalization project,” which aims to expedite the revocation of citizenship from individuals who allegedly gained it unlawfully. Following Trump’s recent victory, Miller posted about “turbocharging” the project in 2025, further igniting debate around his appointment.
His social media posts leading up to Election Day last week included a call to “GET THE HELL TO THE POLLS AND VOTE TO END THE INVASION!!!” and a controversial statement claiming that “Illegals are raping and murdering American children.” Miller’s statements underscore his hard-line stance on immigration, resonating with Trump’s base while drawing criticism for inflammatory language.
Miller’s reappointment has fueled discussions about the future direction of Trump’s policies, especially around civil rights, immigration, and national security, placing him once again at the center of high-stakes political debate in Washington.
