The ‘Make in India’ initiative’s Vande Bharat Express trains were introduced in 2019.
On separate routes on Sunday, nine brand-new Vande Bharat trains will be flagged off by the prime minister. There are two on the South Central Railways (SCR), two in West Bengal, one in each of Odisha, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, among other places.
According to a formal announcement, Ashwini Vaishnaw, the minister of the Union Railways, would also take part in the inaugural ceremony.
The numerous trains are anticipated to provide commuters with a smooth travel experience as the festival season gets underway, offering a quicker and more practical travel choice. The Kacheguda-Yesvantpur train service between Bengaluru and Hyderabad will, according to the officials, be the fastest train between the two cities with the shortest travel time. The announcement also said that the Vijayawada – MGR Chennai Central line train will be the first and fastest on this route.
According to news agency ANI, the train will travel the 535 kilometres between Patna and Howrah and Ranchi and Howrah with 25 additional features in about 6 hours and 30 minutes.
