Registration for CAT 2024 on iimcat.ac.in ends tomorrow
Tomorrow, September 13, is the last day for online registration for the Common Admission Test, or CAT 2023. On iimcat.ac.in, candidates may submit an application for the management entrance exam. The exam is being given this year by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow.
On September 13, the CAT 2023 application period opened.
Then, on October 25, IIM Lucknow will distribute CAT 2023 admission cards. On November 26, 155 test cities will host the admission exam, which will be administered in three sessions.
Candidates may apply for the test if they have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% of the required grades or an equivalent CGPA. The minimum score necessary is 45% for the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories.
For applicants who are SC, ST, or PwD, the IIM CAT 2023 application cost is 1,200 rupees. There is a 2,400 application fee for everyone else.
According to the previously disclosed timeline, CAT results will probably be released by the second week of January 2024. Scores on the CAT are valid till December 31, 2024.
Since there is no centralized counseling procedure, candidates who qualify for admission via the CAT must submit individual applications to each school.
Additionally, passing the exam does not guarantee admission; other screening processes at the institution level may be required.
